Postpartum Support
Virtual postpartum doula support; On Demand
Pregnancy & Postpartum
I have had the privilege of working over 750 night shifts with newborns and their families, both immediate and extended. I’ve spent countless hours sitting and talking with parents during those late-night feedings. I want parents to know that they are never alone during this exciting yet challenging time. I know that feeling of being up at 2 AM and having that question and not knowing who to text at that hour; I can be available! I’m here for you, ready to listen and provide assistance with any questions or concerns you may have. Typically during night hours I communicate via text and then during the day we can catch up by phone call.
Currently offering In-Person postpartum night shifts.
I am offering night shifts in and around the Seattle Area from 10 PM until 6 AM. $400 a shift.

Check out these amazing words from our clients!
“Amanda was wonderful; she helped us transition our daughter out of our bed and into her own bed in only four sessions and with no tears from anyone. It was so smooth, and Amanda set us up on the path for success. She was also great at answering questions we had down the line and never made me feel like I was bothering her. We loved our time with her.”
Megan
“Amanda was a huge and valued help in taking care of our son for a series of nights, thank you for that.
We highly recommend Amanda.”
Jay
“We asked Amanda to move in, but ultimately she reminded us that she had a family of her own she lived with.
But jokes aside, Amanda was an amazing part of our postpartum experience, and I truly felt so safe knowing she was on our team.”
Katie
“I cannot recommend Amanda enough! She worked with our family for three months and took care of our newborn baby with the utmost care and attention. Amanda is an incredibly reliable and dependable person, always showing up on time and going above and beyond to ensure our family's needs were met.
Some highlights:
Focus on sleep quality: what was initially planned for 1 month, in the end became a 3-month service. During this time, Amanda was essential for allowing us to rest and helping our little one establish a good night of sleep. Also, I felt confident about leaving the baby for her care while I was sleeping.
Postpartum support: During the first week, besides taking care of the baby, she took great care of me as I was recovering from the C-section. She made sure I didn't need to get out of bed, bringing me the medicines and my baby for breastfeeding.
Knowledgeable: She has lots of experience with breastfeeding and newborns and provided valuable information to help us along the postpartum. Her previous experience allowed her to anticipate what baby's stage was coming.
Empathetic and a good listener. She pays attention to the mother's and the father's concerns. We felt very comfortable sharing our concerns and feelings with her. She was free of judgment and had a very calming and friendly personality.
Professional and competent: She is extremely committed to her work. She takes the postpartum support as a mission and does everything that she can do to meet all the family's needs.
Amanda had a fundamental role in the post-postpartum journey. She helped my husband and me gain the confidence that first parents need to take care of our daughter. And I will always be thankful to Amanda.”

I understand that seeking help with pediatric sleep can be challenging. While a sleep training book can be helpful, it may not cover unique situations or specific questions. A compassionate sleep trainer is like an open book, ready to offer non-judgmental advice and support for your concerns.
-
That is okay; I can still create a sleep plan for your child without sleep training methods. Instead, it will have healthy awake windows and ideal schedules and rhythms for your day.
-
Yes! This is the best part of remote work. I can assist you from anywhere in the world. I am internationally certified.
-
Absolutely not. I have a wide range of effective methods to assist your child in learning to self-soothe and sleep independently. The "cry it out" approach is only utilized in a very limited number of cases, and I assure you that I would never insist on it if it doesn't align with your preferences. I will guide you through various techniques, and together we will select an approach that best suits your family. Furthermore, I will personalize the chosen method to specifically cater to your child's needs.

I specialize in caring for newborns and infants, but I can assist children of all ages. I only have one method that I prefer for older kids, but it's effective 75% of the time! My children are 11 and 8.

In most cases, parents notice significant changes in their child's sleep patterns within the first week of implementing the recommended strategies. Sometimes, these changes become apparent within the first couple of days. However, it's important to remember that every child is different, and results may vary. While I don't want to set unrealistic expectations, it's worth noting that many parents have reported a decrease from three nightly wake-ups to just one in the initial days of trying these methods.
